Built / realized project

This time, our blank canvas was an apartment in a beautiful new building in Sofia’s “Iztok” district, with highly responsive and consistent clients. We began by inviting them to share their preferences, lifestyle, and expectations in detail. Inspired by their affinity for lime green, we developed the interior concept around this vibrant tone. In contrast, we introduced deep terracotta accents, which balance the palette while subtly referencing the façade cladding of the building.

All built-in furniture is executed in a bespoke design. The kitchen is spacious and richly composed, featuring carefully selected materials and textures. Above the island, which incorporates a built-in wine rack, hangs a custom-designed lighting fixture with an integrated shelf.

Black metal elements are repeated throughout the interior and represented a key design challenge within the project. An elegant full-height glass door introduces natural light into the entrance hall. Lighting fixtures constitute another carefully curated detail, contributing to the overall composition.

The combination of tiles in the bathrooms is enriched with green accents. An unusual marble finish draws attention to the shower areas, becoming a key visual feature of the space.

The bedroom is longer than standard, and our intention was to address the proportions in a more deliberate way in order to fully articulate the space. For this reason, the bed with its expressive headboard is complemented by wide nightstands and seamlessly transitions into a dresser unit.

Ginger Apartment – Layout
The kitchen is carefully organized in terms of function and is complemented by an island with bar stools, creating a cohesive and practical layout.
The large dining table is accentuated by a distinctive lighting fixture above it, emphasizing the character of the dining space.
The TV unit is custom-designed, combining metal elements, milled MDF, and panels of Scandinavian moss for a distinctive, tactile composition.
An elegant full-height glass door introduces natural light into the entrance hall, creating a seamless visual connection with the living room.
The clients’ requirement was to avoid almost any use of white in the interior. As a result, the walls and furniture are designed in a beige palette with a subtle cappuccino tone. The green accents are unconventional, yet carefully balanced within the overall composition.
The wall behind the bed is conceived as a carefully composed design element, combining wall paneling with an upholstered headboard and integrated bedside tables, seamlessly transitioning into a dresser unit.
With a partial redesign, we introduced an entrance hall furniture unit that combines a compact wardrobe, a small seating bench, and dedicated shoe storage, optimizing both functionality and space efficiency.
Green marble accentuates and defines the shower area, turning it into a distinct focal point within the bathroom.
We designed recessed niches in the shower area and above the toilet, accentuated with decorative tiles in the client’s favorite lime tone.
