The single-family house is set on a predominantly flat site in the Bistritsa district, within a gently sloping terrain oriented to the southeast. The building is developed over two above-ground levels, without a basement, with parking accommodated in a ground-floor garage. Its positioning is carefully considered to maximize the breathtaking views towards Vitosha Mountain and its highest peak, Cherni Vrah, while also taking full advantage of the favorable site orientation.
The southwest façade is generously glazed, while the remaining façades are more solid and introverted, acting as a protective architectural envelope. A defining architectural feature is the canopy with an integrated pergola, which accentuates the building’s silhouette while enhancing the passive cooling performance of the house. The flat roof continues the project’s clean architectural language, maintaining a coherent and minimal composition.
The volumetric composition combines and alternates several façade materials, creating a rich layered expression. A key accent is the timber cladding, which introduces warmth and tactility, while the ground floor is distinctly emphasized through stone cladding, grounding the overall composition.
